Istanbul, day 2

A sideways Medusa turns an upright but squatting Sarah to stone in the depths of Istanbul's oldest cistern.
Me and Liz inside Aya Sofya. A church built in the 600's, then changed to a mosque under the Ottomans, and now a museum.

More Aya Sofya

Me and Sarah inside the blue mosque. No pews in mosques. Feel weird inside because there is so much empty space

The girls, with their proper head covers, in the womens section. Basically, a cage in the corner of the mosques where woman can pray
